As a football season comes to an end there are always a few discussion that football fans take part in. Analysing the season that has just been, dissecting which players they will sign, which players they will sell and very importantly, what the new kit will look like. PUMA are the kit suppliers for many teams around the globe and being my favourite manufacturer, I thought Id pick five of my favourite PUMA Football kits for the 2016/17 season. Please note that I am biased and thats okay.
Arsenal Home Kit
The Arsenal Football club start a new season with a manager that has more years in charge than almost all of the other Premier League Managers together. Their new kit stays true to the inspirational white sleeve design and is all round a classy kit. The general reaction from fans has been nothing short of delighted as they hope for an end to the waiting for a fourth Premier League title.
Glasgow Rangers Home Kit
At this stage, this is only a leaked shirt, obtained from Footy Headlines, however for the first season back in the Scottish Premier League, it appears that PUMA have delivered a simple design that really fits the classic feel of the Glasgow giants. The fact that they get to beat Brendan Rogers at Celtic is just the cherry on the top.
Dortmund Away Kit
The new Dortmund Away kit was launched by PUMA this week and they once again delivered. In the past couple of years Dortmund have had some of the finest kits in Europe and this is the case again as their away kit looks a cut above. The modern jersey features a horizontal three-colour block design in the club colours of black and yellow and also dark gray. #Jealous if you are not a Dortmund fan.
Leicester City Away Kit
The fairy-tale come true team will be looking distinctively different in their away games this year as the black kit has made way for an all together more classy all red kit. The graphic included in the background has a very unique look to it and you can see that Leicester got the effort from designers that their story deserved.
Raith Rovers Away Kit
There had to be a left field choice and for that left field I’m going with Raith Rovers. Not only is the design on of the best there is out there, but the sponsorship has a fantastic story behind it too. Sponsorship of the new strip was awarded to the winners of a unique competition that took place earlier this year. The away strip sponsorship was gifted to Myeloma UK to help support Myeloma UK and aid in awareness of this disease. The sponsorship was gifted by long-term Raith Rovers fan, Douglas Roberts, who won the sponsorship package in the prize draw.
