Jabu’s Weekend Bets with Bet.co.za

Based on my SuperBru performances I really shouldnt be dabbling in any betting into sport and up until very recently I had maintained this outlook. That was until I was introduced to Mark Bosman and the crew at Bet.co.za. Bet.co.za is a fantastic online betting site that is run completely above board and in line with FICA requirements!

On Bet.co.za there is no minimum bets, so you can throw R5 down if that is what pleases you. Now with the introductions out of the way, I thought Id share with you what my bets are this weekend. Last weekend I called the Fiji 7’s win and quite ridiculously the CSK amount of sixes in an IPL game! So here it is:

Champions League:

Half time Draw, Bayern Munich Win.

I like Bayern and I like their ability to hold out early on. I think they could win this one comfortably, but think the nerves could mean that the first half could be a game of missed chances, with Bayern taking it home after that.

Playoff Final

Blackpool to be leading at Half time

Blackpool have got my support on Saturday afternoon and they have been simply scintilating at times in the first half of games this season. They of course have also been very infuriating in the second half as demonstrated by their lacklustre second half display against Birmingham. Im really not sure who the winner will be, but think Blackpool to lead at half time is a good bet.

Sharks to win by 13+

I love the Cheetahs more than any Vaalie really should, but the Sharks are starting to hit form and with the superstar Johan Goosen out injured, the Cheetahs have to now rely on the error prone and confidence lacking Sias Ebersohn. This is a bet I would love to lose, however I think its probably the safest bet I have. Please prove me wrong!

Premier Soccer League

Mamelodi Sundowns to draw with Free State Stars

I would love to see the PSL end in as exciting a manner as the EPL did last weekend, however I cant see it happening. Last year Pirates won at home against Arrows to get the title and I expect them to do it again this weekend even though its away from home. As a result my focus shifts slightly down the table to the Sundowns game. Sundowns lost their chance to win the league with a defeat to Supersport. Their focus will surely now be on the Nedbank Cup Final and I expect an average display from them again.

And thats it! I have put R20 on each and hould they prove successful I will make a Man City like income of R250. I know, Im awesome like that. Get involved and follow @betcoza and check out the site at www.bet.co.za
