Yonex kicks off the new year with the sixth generation VCORE 100L Tennis Racket. Yonex built Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM) into the handle to help filter out unwanted vibrations and improve touch and precision. The brand has added an upgraded technology called 2G-NAMD FLEX FORCE from the upper throat to the lower frame. The graphite material allows the racket to flex and snap back quickly to increase spin potential. The sweet spot of the VCORE 100L is massive thanks to the Isometric head shape and new String Sync Grommets which promote greater string movement for faster snapback. The VCORE 100L features a slightly wider face at the 10 and 2 o’clock positions of the head to raise the sweet spot slightly for improved stability. At the top of the racket head, the beam has been thinned out to improve maneuverability on fast swings. Aero Trench and Aero Fin technologies carry over from the previous generation to reduce air resistance and improve racket head acceleration. Though it has the same 16×19 string pattern and 100 square inch head size as the regular VCORE 100, the 100L is only 280g unstrung. With the addition of the aforementioned VDM, the new VCORE 100L is more comfortable and dampened than the previous version. The 100L is a great choice for intermediate players who need a maneuverable racket for hitting shots on the run.
